The erase tool will now appear as a large circle on the page. With the vertical guide selected, click and hold the mouse to begin erasing the line from the bottom up. The eraser will only work on the layer that is selected. Remember that Photoshop has an “undo” feature under the “Edit” menu if you are not happy with how things are going.
Repeat the process for the horizontal line.
